  • Academic scores

  • Standardized tests

  • Work experience

  • Community development

  • Extracurricular activities

  • English proficiency

A thorough evaluation of the above would give us a fair idea of your eligibility and the aspects that need to be strengthened further. This is supported by essays and recommendations to complete the application set.

Which countries can I apply to?

The US has the maximum number of excellent colleges in the world, with a diverse range of options from engineering colleges to business schools and liberal arts institutions. Following closely behind are Canada, UK, and Australia. Singapore and Hong Kong have a few excellent universities as well.

Why is the demand for the US more than others?

Academic programs in the US nurture students through a holistic approach. They offer a limitless selection of courses that can be perused in flexible combinations. The American academic system allows for up to two years of exploratory study before you have to choose a ‘major’ or specialization. This personalization makes the educational model more productive based on the aptitude of every learner. Large universities equipped with state of the art facilities offer a wealth of practical experience while smaller colleges allow for a great deal of personal attention and interaction between professors and students. Dynamic internships and jobs in the US further develop your practical skills alongside theoretical ones.

What kind of academic evaluation do I need?

Most colleges and universities require you to submit your school transcripts from the 9th, 10th, and 11th grades, along with your 12th midterm transcripts. They also require 12th predicted marks and many require additional tests such as the SAT, ACT, Subject Tests and English Proficiency tests.

What does the admissions committee search for in application?

Oomph! The admissions committee is searching for that extraordinary characteristic which sets you apart. This USP needs to be supported by your recommendations and must be the highlight of your essays as well. Additional initiatives in the extracurricular sphere and in community service will make your application flourish.

What is the purpose of essays and recommendations in my application?

Essays and recommendations are the heart and soul of applications. They are the springboard that students must use wisely to illustrate their personality, accomplishments, and experiences. Our mentors interact with the students to help them piece together their life’s journey.

Working with our team, the applicants put a spotlight on exclusive milestones that inculcate their calibers accurately.

A set of supportive recommendations from school teachers and counselors; account for the students’ performance, under their supervision, and through their perspective.

Should I take the SAT or the ACT?

The SAT and the ACT are both accepted in lieu of each other in all colleges in the US, but both tests are suited to different kinds of test takers. The ACT has a greater science focus while students who are good at the English language tend to fair better in the SAT. Furthermore, the ACT is computer-based while the SAT is paper-based. Depending on your unique skill-set, we will guide you through the process of choosing the right test for you.

Which language proficiency test should I take?

Both the TOEFL (US) and the IELTS (UK) are accepted by all colleges the world over. Again, the TOEFL is internet based which the IELTS is paper based so your comfort level will determine the right one for you. For your eventual UK student visa, however, only the IELTS is accepted, so depending on your overall future plans, we will guide you through the process of choosing the right test.

When do college application filling and submission cycles start?

A number of prestigious universities have a round of early applications in the month of October. This is the best time to send in your applications as it can give you an edge over later applicants, whether you’re applying through the Early Decision round (binding) or the Early Action round (non-binding). The regular admission round deadlines are in November, December and January. Some Rolling Admissions continue through the end of the academic year. Every college has it’s own rules and deadlines, so we will create a unique submission timeline according to your college list.
